Maha Shivratri is festival about of Shiva and Shakti, This a pure holy festival Shivratri is Celebrated by all Indian, On this day is public National holiday, this year, Maha Shivaratri Festival is came on 27th, February, 2014, Most of Devotees of Mahadev / Shiv are ready to performed Shiv Ratri worship means Pujaa and fasting for Shivratri,

This is big Importance of Worship and fasting on the Shivratri Festival, All the Devotees of Mahadev or Parvati are performed worship and take fasting for this day of Shivratri, main reason of this worship and fasting is to get blessing from Shiv and Shakti. Before the day ago from Shivratri, which means day of Trayodashi (13th Day of Phalgun) devotees are starting Vrat for Shivratri, on the day of Trayodashi they should eat one time in a day, and on the day of shivratri devotees are take full day fast and next day of shivratri are take food.

Devotees are go to visit Mahadev /Shiv Temple, and Devotees are performed four Prahar puja which means four times puja during at night of Shivratri, devotees are doing four times Shiv Aarti and Shiv Puja during night of Maha Shivratri at all Mahadev Temple, and its time schedule are fixed for Shivratri Puja which are done on Nishita Timing, and its Shivratri puja times are listed with Nishita time format in below.

Shivratri First Prahar Puja Time = 18:15 to 21:24
Shivratri Second Prahar Puja Time = 21:24 to 24:33+
Shivratri Third Prahar Puja Time = 24:33+ to 27:42+
Shivratri Fourth Prahar Puja Time = 27:42+ to 30:51+
